Former BIG WRECK Frontman Signs With CHAD KROEGER's Label
August 13, 2003Jam! Music reports former BIG WRECK frontman Ian Thornley has signed with his friend Chad Kroeger's Universal-distributed label 604 in Canada, and Roadrunner for the rest of the world. He will begin recording with Toronto producer Gavin Brown (THREE DAYS GRACE, BILLY TALENT) in September. The album, expected in the first quarter of 2004, will likely come out under the band name THORNLEY. "He's such a talent," the NICKELBACK frontman said. "He's such a talented guitar player and such a great singer. All he wants to do is play his guitar and sing, and he's just so talented at doing that. We co-wrote and produced three songs (demos) and got him signed to Roadrunner." Read more.
